"Joyful Hearts" was started as our older adult ministry several years ago.  The only requirement is that you have a joyful heart.  We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11:15.  Everyone brings a covered dish and after a short program, followed by our joys and concerns, we all enjoy fellowship with one another as we enjoy our meal.

Everyone is invited to bring a covered dish and come out and fellowship with us.  We try and do a variety of things including inviting special speakers.  We all enjoyed the band, comprised of some of the residents of Magnolia Manor at Moultrie, Ga., who visited with us.  We have also gone there and visited and ate with the residents.

There are times when the group enjoy day trips.  We have gone on trips to Andersonville, Ga.; Youeder's at Montezuma, Ga; the Camillia Gardens at Marshalville, Ga.; a special art display in Moultrie, Ga.; and to see the exotic stuffed animals on display at Doerun, Ga.  There has also been an overnight trip to see the Christmas Lights at Callaway Gardens.  Please see pictures from these on our picture link.
